Lesson Booking & PaymentAll lessons and lesson packages must be paid in advance before sessions begin.Lesson packages reserve dedicated teaching time and scheduling availability specifically for the student.Booking confirmation and lesson access details will be provided after payment has been completed.2. Single Lesson Upgrade to PackageStudents who purchase a single lesson and later decide to upgrade to a lesson package may have the cost of the original single lesson deducted from the package price.The package must be purchased within 7 days of the original lesson for the deduction to apply.3. Package Refund PolicyStudents who purchase a lesson package may request a refund within the first two completed lessons if they decide the service is not the right fit.However:• The first two lessons are fully billable and non-refundable, as they include preparation, assessment, lesson planning, and scheduling allocation.• Only unused lessons remaining in the package are eligible for refund.• Refund requests must be submitted in writing by email.After the first two completed lessons, lesson packages become non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of JFConvo.4. Lesson Validity & Recommended ScheduleFor the best speaking improvement and lesson consistency, JFConvo strongly recommends completing lessons at a pace of approximately two lessons per week whenever possible.Students may also choose a slower schedule if needed.To maintain scheduling fairness and active lesson planning, lesson packages expire according to the following maximum timeframes after the first completed lesson:• 10 Lesson Package: expires after 9 weeks
• 20 Lesson Package: expires after 19 weeks
• 40 Lesson Package: expires after 39 weeksUnused lessons remaining after the package expiration period may be forfeited.If lessons need to be postponed due to tutor availability, travel, technical issues, emergencies, holidays, or scheduling limitations on the JFConvo side, package expiration periods may be reasonably extended to compensate for the affected time.Reasonable flexibility may be considered for:
• illness
• exams
• work travel
• emergencies
• major scheduling conflictsat the discretion of JFConvo.5. Rescheduling & Missed LessonsStudents should provide at least 24 hours notice for lesson rescheduling whenever possible.Lessons missed without notice or repeated last-minute cancellations may be counted as completed lessons.Reasonable flexibility is always considered for emergencies, illness, technical problems, or important professional situations.6. Technical IssuesIf technical problems occur on the tutor’s side and significantly affect the lesson, the affected lesson time will be rescheduled or replaced at no additional cost.Students are responsible for ensuring they have:
• a stable internet connection
• working microphone and audio
• access to the agreed lesson platform7. Online Learning EnvironmentJFConvo provides professional online English communication training designed to improve fluency, confidence, critical thinking, and speaking performance.Results depend on multiple factors including:
• lesson attendance
• consistency
• participation
• effort
• independent practice outside lessonsSpecific test scores, job outcomes, or language results cannot be guaranteed.8. Privacy & ConfidentialityStudent privacy is treated seriously.Personal information, lesson discussions, documents, recordings, and professional situations are never shared publicly without permission.Lessons are not recorded unless explicitly agreed upon by both parties.Because JFConvo works with professionals, students, and international clients, some testimonials and success stories may remain anonymous for privacy reasons.9. CommunicationOfficial communication regarding scheduling, payments, refunds, or lesson changes should be made through officially listed JFConvo communication channels, including:• Email
